Hello all.

I'm back after two weeks in Cornwall - was quite a good holiday. But after spending two weeks in such a nice, quiet place i'd forgotten all the bad things about living here.

We hypnotise ourselves with hour after hour of TV consumerism and mind-numbing distractions. Wake up! Every labour union ever formed in the last two hundred years, every step taken to ensure better working conditions, better wages, a shorter working week, rights for the child, rights for women, equality for ethnic minorities - all have been opposed by the forces of the state, forces which, incidentally, comprise of working class people, heavily propagandised, and needing to earn a living like the rest of us. During every strike and demonstration, the police turn out as usual, to represent our ever-greedy masters and their property, to protect the wealth the power-elite have accrued wealth which was stolen from we who produced it."

I am not a world leader. I am not a leading politician. I am not a government official. I am not in a position of power. However – all I am is a concerned citizen. It is my belief that this is all it takes for us to realise just how precarious the world is set up in this modern era. One person can make a difference. One person can influence others to open their eyes, this was certainly the case with me. I now urge you to educate yourselves, learn the real truths of the world in which you inhabit. It is not such a safe place as your television set suggests. Adolf Hitler, one of the most evil men ever to come to power in the history of the world once said, "how fortunate for governments that the people they administer don’t think". Here he is talking about how docile and gullible we are. Hitler showed perfectly how easily propagandised we could be. History has a habit of repeating itself – and this is no exception to events happening today – right now.
